   In March 2001, the ruling Taliban destroyed Afghanistan's foremost tourist        attraction, the 1600 year-old Buddhas of Bamiyan. This film follows the story ofone of the refugees who now lives among the ruins….an eight-year-old boy named Mir.

Through entertaining and informative puppet shows, No Strings aims to foster landmine safety awareness, educate children about HIV and AIDS, and teach young people about street kids' issues.

Johnie McGlade, founder of No Strings, said " The power these puppets possess is just unbelievable. They draw people in like mad. The shows are funny, dramatic and they can teach kids how to avoid getting killed or maimed by a mine."

The Survival Guide to Kabul is the first guide to the city in almost 30 years. In July 2003, following the successful pamphlet circulated in Kabul in September 2002, this guide was published as Kabul: the Bradt Mini Guide. The street children sold the pamphlet and the mini guide and are continuing to make money from the sales.

The website contact says that the project aims to preserve and promote Afghanistan’s heritage and culture through the collection, preservation and dissemination of old photographs.  With over 500 old photos, the archive has been patiently realized and aims to ensure that future generations will know of traditions, places and people that vanished long ago.

MMCC – Afghan Mobile Mini Circus for Children - is a "Child Protection" project, which provides psycho-social support to children in difficult circumstances. The Circus is a cultural, educational, entertaining, and participative mobile project with no living animals.

Making children laugh is part of what MMCC considers as success. The main idea is to entertain and educate traumatized children through performances, workshops and training all around Afghanistan throughout the year.
